Arden MG Club

The Arden MG Club was founded in September 1989 when a group of six British MG enthusiasts met for the first time at the Golden Cross, Ardens Grafton, near Stratford-upon-Avon. Since then, the Club has met every first Tuesday of the month and the membership has grown to some 100 members. The meetings are informal, along the lines of a ”Noggin and Natter.” There is no membership fee and the funds to cover the running costs are raised by a monthly raffle. The Club is affiliated to the MG Car Club Midland Centre and the MG Owners Club. Owners of pre 1956 cars, the Arden Octagon Group, meet on the last Tuesday of every month at the Blue Boar, Temple Grafton. 1993 saw the first Arden MG Club Heritage Run. It was the first Classic Car Run to visit the Heritage Motor Museum taking place the day after it was officially opened. 200 MG Cars left Stratford-upon-Avon, traveling through the lanes of Warwickshire on a journey of about 60 miles before arriving at the museum. Because of the success of the first Heritage Run, it has become an annual event with entries coming from all parts of the country. The number of cars participating range from 150 to 200 each year.

Burnley and Pendle MGOC

The Burnley and Pendle MGOC was formed in the late 1980's for local owners of these classic English sports cars.
Between 1995 and 2003 this British club was in the hands of John and Jose who successfully built it up from less than five cars to a very respectable twenty. These range from a 1600 Mk II coupe upto a limited edition MGF VVC. Now that John and Jose have moved to a sunnier climate, our new leaders are Jim and Christine Burrows.
We meet at least twice every month and are a club that believes owning an MG means driving an MG - polishing and concours just isn't our thing! We don't believe in locking these cars up in garages throughout the winter months, but are more likely to be found cruising east Lancashire on snow covered lanes.

The Modified Mini Car Club of S.A.

Was formed in 1973, it was about this time that the unofficial title of "HOTBRICKS" was also coined, to some the name might sound a little corny but it was very cool back in '73. The name must still have some appeal as it was borrowed by some lads who formed "HOTBRICKS N.S.W. in 1995. We believe we are the only Mini club in Australia with a Minis only policy (we also allow Mokes and Mini based Derivatives.)
