Following Highlander III in 2000 I stood down as the MGF Register Scottish Rep
and no longer organise MGF-Scotland outings. In addition the web site is no
longer maintained. It is now kept only as a repository for those who wish to
look back on the reports and pictures of MGF Scotland betwen 1997 & 2000.
The MG & Riley Farina Register is the number one resource for Magnette Mk. III,
Mk. IV, and Riley 4/68 and 4/72 owners and enthusiasts.
We are a small group affiliated to the National MG Owners Club. Our group is
more social than car orientated as you will see from the events list. However,
most members still drive an MG and we are happy to discuss anything to do with
the marque with newcomers. Welcome to the South Essex Branch of the MG Owners Club. We are a very friendly club who love to share our interests in all things M.G. We meet regularly for our club events such as Ten Pin Bowling, Pub lunches, day trips to various historical properties & places of interest, weekend breaks and other social activities. Our club is well organised and well attended with over 40 people regularly attending our monthly meetings. All new members are welcome to come along, so feel free to pop in and see us. A lot of our members are ladies and we pride ourselves that our club is not just for men. Even if you have a car off the road being restored, this won’t prevent you from taking part in events in our very full calendar for the year and the committee strives to ensure that there is at least one event for each month of the year.
The Midget & Sprite Club (M&SC) was formed in October 1983 to bring together all
Midget & Sprite MK's built between 1958 & 1979. Unlike the established one
marque clubs who have to cater for a wide variety of different cars and
therefore owner's interests, M&SC can concentrate exclusively on these highly
successful small cars. This UK based club is run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts,
it is not a business but a democratically run club whose one aim is to provide
the best possible service to its members and their cars.
We are always pleased to see new members at our regular
meetings. If you own any interesting sports car and or have an interest in MG's
as whole then why not come along and join us. Club meetings on the 2nd and 4th
Tuesday of each month are held at White Horse Trowse from 8.30 p.m.
The MG Pit is a gateway to various MG sites. It brings you information about MG
cars in general and, more specifically, the MGF/TF. South Manchester MG Owners Club
Founded in 1980 when MG's were still being made at Abingdon, we have more than
sixty active members and are always on the lookout for new people with fresh
ideas to come and join in the fun. We meet at the Roebuck in Mobberley every
Month.
The MG Car Club in Ulster is an active branch of the club, responsible for representing over 300 classic car owners in the province and for organising events as diverse as PCTs and BBQs, autotests and dinners and many more.
News, an events diary, historical information, and a dealer listing. Also includes photographs, specifications, and buyer's guides for the different models. One of the most comprehensive British cars website.
The MG 'M' Group is run by dedicated enthusiasts for
dedicated enthusiasts. The MG saloons are often underrated, although they are an
important part of the marque's history. Being affiliated to the largest one-marque
car club in the world, the MG Owners Club, we acknowledge the cars place in a
renowned line of sports cars - but our club offers much more than that... The Club has been established since 1969 when a small group of enthusiasts in the Stafford and Stoke areas of England began to meet and cater for pre-'56 M.G.s in an effort to maintain and preserve the cars for which Abingdon was traditionally renowned. The objects of the Club were to arrange social and sporting meetings for the benefit of members, to provide members with information, advice and assistance and generally further the interest in the preservation and renovation of M.G. cars built prior to 1956.
The Performance Metro Club is for drivers of Rovers range of performance Metros,
from the A-Series MG and GTa to the K-Series GTi and group B 6R4. The club is
fully supported by the Rover group. So, whether you are an enthusiast for all
things motoring or just want to get more out of driving your performance Metro,
this is definitely the club for you.
The club was originally formed in 1979 by Roy Coleman, of Tewkesbury. It didn't
gain its present name until 1981, when it became affiliated to the M.G.O.C and
was designated as an area in its own right. The first meetings were held at
Chalford, Stroud. But then subsequently moved to the Hunters Inn at Longdon, Nr
Upton-on-Severn. Although during the life of the club there have been numerous
changes in meeting venue's, we are now again meeting at: The Hunters Inn at
Longdon on the 1st and 3rd Thursday in the month. Meetings start at
approximately 8.30 pm. A warm welcome is offered to all MG owners who live in or around our area when you pay us a visit, at WAMGOC. We have a full and varied programme designed to help you enjoy owning and using your MG, also we can help you maintain your car at a reasonable cost, through our specialist contacts in the area. So why not come along and join in the fun. We meet in the restaurant of The Gate Inn, Bryants Bottom.
