Colortune

If you can change a spark plug, you can use Colortune - on single, twin or multiple (variable, fixed jet or emission controlled) carburettors or injection systems.

How Colortune works
Understanding the principle by which Colortune works helps in getting the best use out of it. This principle is commonly seen in action on paraffin heaters, gas cookers or anywhere where a fuel is burnt in air to produce heat or energy. At its most efficient a clear blue flame is produced by the combustion whilst other colours result from inefficient mixtures.
See inside your engine while it is running. The combustion colour tells you if the carburettor (or injection system) is correctly adjusted.
How to use Colortune Cojortune fits into the engine in place of one of the spark plugs. Start the engine and immediately colours are seen through the glass window as Colortune ignites the mixture. The colours indicate the petrol/air mixture strength and by following the procedure in the instructions adjustments can easily be made.
